The Campus Ambassador is primarily responsible for executing outreach marketing strategies to attract prospects, build brand awareness, and drive leasing traffic to the property. A successful Campus Ambassador will effectively connect with the student community, generate high-quality leads, and creatively promote the brand. These efforts will play an important role in positioning Tailwind as the premier choice for student housing in the represented market. This a temporary position with an estimated timeline of January - March, working 12-20 hours per week. There may be continued opportunities for a successful candidate, but there is no guarantee of consistent employment beyond the term of the role.Responsibilities & Duties
- Model and cascade Tailwind Group's five core values: Entrepreneurial, Versatile, Responsive, Innovative, and Integrity.
- Establish and maintain relationships with the university by engaging with student organizations, university departments, and athletics to drive awareness, partnerships, and referrals.
- Execute various outreach marketing strategies including campus marketing, tabling at events such as housing fairs, participating in dorm/competitor storms, and performing outreach to local businesses.
- Directly engage with students to promote our student housing property and brand.
- Develop and distribute compelling marketing materials, including giveaway materials and social media content.
- Ensure that materials are effectively deployed within the market.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, assess competitor marketing activity, and understand student needs and preferences.
- Share insights with the property management team to enhance outreach efforts.
- Track, analyze, and report on outreach efforts to generate high-quality leads and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Make data-driven suggestions to improve future marketing strategies.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with property goals and objectives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and working towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience in marketing, event planning, or student outreach is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a growing, fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong social media skills including experience in content creation.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and connect with diverse groups and generate leads.
- Ability to have a positive and innovate approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work nights and weekends based on event and campaign schedule.
