As a summer associate, you will help strengthen our understanding of industry trends, competitive positioning, and strategic opportunities to drive our distribution strategy and prioritiesAs a Financial Business Analysis Summer Associate, you will perform one or more of the following tasks:
- Support projects, including assessments of new strategic opportunities, across distribution, service, and investment management business areas.
- Utilize business analytics to analyze industry data sources, perform trends analysis and market sizing, and derive segment and product insights across the asset management industry
- Partner with cross-functional teams to incorporate relevant information, such as qualitative data, that influences modeling and forecasting assumptions.
I am the person Capital Group is looking for. - You are a current student pursuing an MBA or master's degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
- You have an anticipated Spring 2026 graduation date and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- You have effective written and oral communication skills with team members and managers
- You collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
- You demonstrate initiative by identifying issues and recommending solutions.
- Prior experience with data modeling preferred
- You have knowledge of a variety of programming languages, including SQL, SAS, SPSS and other 4GLs, and web tools for data mining
