Primary Purpose:
Serve as Campus-Level PEIMS Coordinator. Assist Principal with administrative duties and managing office operations as assigned and a high sense of urgency.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
* High school diploma required
* Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
* Knowledge of telephone protocol; computer skills
* Professional verbal and written communication skills
Experience:
* Experience with Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Clerical/ administrative assistant/ secretarial experience preferred
* Experience in maintaining accurate and auditable records & developing spreadsheets and reports
* Proficient skills in database, word processing, keyboarding, and file maintenance
* 2 years' experience in PEIMS reporting preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
PEIMS Duties:
* Ensure all PEIMS data (attendance, registration, withdrawal, etc.) is entered correctly; run various reports as instructed.
* Coordinate collection, integration/formatting of all data required for PEIMS submission according to PEIMS Data standards.
* Keep enrollment and withdrawal records up to date. Follow up with parents/ students as assigned.
* Run the edits, reports, and verification checks on data to ensure accuracy of data.
* Distribute the edits and reports to appropriate staff for analysis, verification, and correction.
* Keep principals and/or administrators informed of any changes in PEIMS requirements.
* Attend workshops and training in regard to PEIMS.
Clerical/Secretarial Duties:
* Maintain professional communication. Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff. Greet and check in visitors.
* Update and maintain records (attendance, PEIMS, student records, food service, financial records, etc.) as assigned. Use Microsoft office and other software as needed.
* Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system per federal, state, and district policies.
* Distribute mail as assigned. Prepare PO's as assigned.
* Set up and coordinate meetings and supervisor's schedule as assigned.
* Provide office orientation for new employees. Support staff in assigned project-based work.
* Compose correspondence and complete reports as assigned.
* Communicate with parents, students, faculty, staff, and community members per supervisor's instructions.
* General:

* Follow federal, state, and district policies and maintain confidentiality.
