Job Description:
The role of the Campus Production Lead is to oversee all aspects of technically producing worship services and other campus events. He/she is directly responsible for recruiting, training, & maintaining Production Team volunteers, as well as ensuring the function and maintenance of all production equipment in a timely manner in collaboration with the rest of the Worship Department. This person will need a good balance of technical knowledge/ability and strong people skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be an independent problem solver, and be eager to learn.Personal Responsibilities Be committed to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18; 1 Peter 2:2) by assembling for instruction in God's Word and engaging in the personal study of God's Word.Responsibly use the resources at your disposal to foster the mission and vision of Abundant Life (1 Peter 5:1-4).Participate in an Abundant Life group (Acts 2:41-42) as well as the discipleship ministry (Matthew 28:18-20).Live in a way that glorifies God and aligns with the staff core values (1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9).Be committed to giving to the needs of the saints (2 Corinthians 8:1-7 & 9:12). Essential Functions and Responsibilities Ensure Sunday worship services at Johnson County run smoothly each week, troubleshooting any issues that come up on the day of the service.Oversee production for mid-week ministry services and events.Enlist, train, and develop leaders for the Production Team at Abundant Life.Ensure all campus production equipment is maintained and repaired when needed.Maintain THOR LED screens, ensuring maintenance and content planning needs are met.Oversee Sunday and midweek broadcasts originating at the Johnson County Campus.Lead future campus production staff as campus needs grow.Install production equipment at campus.Work with ministry leaders and TD to meet ministry production needs.Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies within the industry.Attend weekly meetings as assigned.Work schedule is generally Sunday-Thursday, with occasional Friday/Saturday events. There will be a required schedule of 1-2 evenings per week with adjusted start times to compensate.Provide assistance to other campus production technicians on projects at other campuses when required.Perform other duties as assigned. Experience & Skills Requirements 2+ years of experience in live events/production environments or similar.Has a strong knowledge of AVL systems and experience in live production (camera operation, switching, lighting, and audio).Programming and execution experience with large format digital audio console environments.Proficient computer skills in Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite.Proficient using ProPresenter.Understands lighting design and Vista.Dante certification is a plus.Audio/visual install experience is a plus.Has strong organizational and problem-solving skills; is self-motivated and a critical thinker.Excellent communication and relationship building skills in both verbal and written communications.
