Will support and perform various retail duties and functions. This position will require commuting to and from the surrounding Campus Stores as needed. Will communicate with Associate Provosts and Instructors at campuses regarding Book Adoptions, Tools, and Supplies orders, and will organize proper shipment of merchandise to each surrounding campus accordingly. The positions' responsibilities will vary based on the needs of the assigned locations. Will be responsible for the store inventory functions to include but not limited to keeping inventory/stock of apparel, tools and hardware supplies, general merchandise, school supplies, digital and hardcopy book orders, etc. Will monitor and process Online and Sponsorship orders in a timely manner. Will be responsible for theShipping and Receiving of all orders and properly record and tag merchandise as needed. Learn and work with Point of Sale(POS) systems. Will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting and financial reports, perform cashier duties toinclude Caf/Snack Bar, daily cash sales, preparing daily sale deposits and submit to Student Accounting (SA) as per SAschedule. Will require trips to local stores to purchase merchandise for the Caf/Snack Bar as needed. Must be able to multi-task and have advanced computer skills. Must have the ability to deal with the public and vendors in a friendly andcourteous manner. Maintain clerical responsibilities; which include but are not limited to, answering phones, distributingmessages, assisting visitors/customers, operating office machines, monitor emails and reply accordingly. Willsupervisor/coach the Customer Service Associate. Report to the Campus Store Manager or their designee as scheduled.Essential Functions

- Support/Perform duties responsibilities of the Inventory Specialist, Customer Service Associate, Tool & Supplies Specialist and Cashier as required.
- Provide cashier support in the Campus Store and Caf/Snack Bar area at the assigned location.
- Provide assistance to the Statewide Campus Store team as it relates to the maintenance of inventory and preparation of merchandise for the retail floors.
- Provide assistance to customers as needed.
- Answer telephones, receive and transmit messages.
- Relate to the public in a positive manner.
- Provide excellent customer relations by being courteous and responsive.
- Perform light housekeeping including dusting and keeping all assigned areas clean and properly organized and fully stocked.
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills
- Graduation from High School or GED equivalent.
- Prefer a two year degree in accounting or business.
- Three years relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or inventory environment.
- Prefer prior state experience with working knowledge of State laws as they apply in the financial area.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work under stress in a busy environment.
- Ability to operate a PC-based automated cash register/inventory system and general office machines.
- Ability to handle monetary transactions.
- Ability to answer telephones, receive and transmit messages. Ability to provide service and assistance to students.
- Accuracy and understanding of efficient and productive methods is essential.
- This job description covers a position in which the percentage of time spent on the essential functions will vary based on the workload and will ultimately be determined by the supervisor.
