Position Type:AdministrationDate Posted:11/7/2024Location:Longview Independent School DistrictAdditional Information: Show/HidePrimary Purpose:The Campus Success Coordinator will support the Coordinator of School Success in providing partner and district staff with the training, support, and policy guidance necessary to promote strong compliance and performance by partner schools. The Campus Success Coordinator will monitor and evaluate campus compliance with HB4545 requirements; oversee the district counselors; oversee TCLAS decision points assigned by the Coordinator of School Success; develop, implement, and monitor the processes and procedures for the development of the district/campus improvement plans; oversee the Gifted/Talented program for the district; & work in collaboration with the Coordinator of School Success to develop a system for the selection, purchase, and inventory of Instructional Materials for the district.Qualifications:Education/Certification:Bachelor's DegreeSpecial Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.?Through knowledge of charter schools and charter school authorizing?Thorough knowledge of state and local accountability systems?Thorough knowledge of TEA policies and procedures related to System of GreatSchools?Ability to analyze law and policy and develop clear, succinct guidance documents?Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skillsExperience:Minimum of 2 years of experience working within a school district or state department of educationMajor Responsibilities and Duties:1.Provide ad hoc support to the Coordinator of School Success to ensure timely andeffective communication between the district and its partner schools;2.Stay abreast of all relevant policy and legal developments in the State of Texas -especially those related to SB 1882 and System of Great Schools - and develop clearand accessible summary documents for the benefit of partner schools and districtstaff;3.Oversee the district's counseling program and ensure that all requirements are met;4.Work in collaboration with the Coordinator of School Success to develop a systemfor the selection, purchase, and inventory of Instructional Materials for the district.5.Support the Coordinator of School Success in developing and implementing annualtraining and orientation protocols for school partners;6.Support the Coordinator of School Success in developing and managing an ongoingCall for Quality Schools process;7.Support the Coordinator of School Success in providing the Chief Innovation Officewith regular and comprehensive updates regarding the progress of school partnersrelative to the performance contract expectations;8.Support the Coordinator of School Success in resolving all school partner relatedcomplaints or other issues and coordinate investigations as necessary;9.Fulfill the requirements to serve as the project manager on assigned TCLAS decisionpoints;10.Provide training as appropriate for district employees as well as operating partners.11.Participate in professional development activities to maintain current knowledge ofregulations.12.Maintain confidentiality in the conduct of district business.13.Occasionally perform work beyond a standard 40-hour work week when work-loadrequires.14.Other duties may be assigned as needed.Attachment(s):* Campus Success District Testing Coordinator.pdf
