Assists patients with navigation through the complexities of financial obligations via foundations, copay program support, and education. Assists with the verification of patient benefits to ensure accurate information is available prior to billing of claims.Minimum Qualifications:1. High School Diploma required2. Associate degree in business or related field preferred.3. Experience performing administrative functions preferred.4. Five- Ten years' experience in a medical practice required, preferably in Oncology/Hematology/Chemotherapy/Infusion5. Insurance prior authorization experience, preferredCommunication and Other Skills1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills required2. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work with physicians, patients, and employees at all levels.3. Must have the capacity to relate to people in a manner to win confidence and establish support4. MS Office, EMR experience preferred.5.
