We have an exciting opportunity for a Cannabis Data Support Specialist to join us on our journey to transform our bold ambitions for the Missouri cannabis market into a reality. Our Cannabis Data Support Specialist will work primarily out of our Rock Hill facility. The Cannabis Data Support Specialist is responsible for managing data analytics, supporting e-commerce operations, and ensuring data integrity across all retail platforms. This role involves working closely with various teams to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making processes. This position is responsible for upholding Proper Brands' mission, vision, goals, and objectives. Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for retail operations;
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across all systems and platforms by regularly auditing data and implementing quality control measures;
  • Providing data support for e-commerce and customer experience initiatives, ensuring seamless operations and enhancing the online shopping experience;
  • Collaborating with the Growth Marketing Specialist to optimize marketing campaigns based on data insights and performance metrics, helping to drive traffic and sales;
  • Identifying and resolving data-related issues promptly, implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence and ensuring continuous data reliability;
  • Maintaining and updating data management SOPs and documentation, ensuring all processes are well-documented, accessible, and up to date;
  • Creating and implementing the integration of new technologies and systems that enhance data management capabilities;
  • Conducting in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement across various retail operations;
  • Providing training and support to team members on data management tools, software, and best practices, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID card by start date;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google suite;
  • Must be 21 years of age or older;
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data support roles;
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Environment: This position requires the ability to work seated for several hours at a time and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Some filing is required. The work environment is an air-conditioned, smoke-free, office environment within a facility that produces cannabis products. The constant exposure to cannabis particulates maybe expected within this environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This position may require travel up to 25% of the time between our facility and retail locations.
