The Cannabis Sales Associate position revolves around guest interaction, product knowledge, inventory management and acts as a liaison for our mission to be a cannabis dispensary that's enjoyable to visit-where people feel comfortable, reassured by the guidance of our knowledgeable staff, and confident that they're accessing the best quality products Michigan has to offer.Job duties include, but are not limited to:Familiarity with products, ability to speak to guests about the benefits of eachGreet guests in a friendly, hospitable wayComply with all state regulatory requirements for the sale of cannabisOperate our Point-Of-Sale system (Dutchie) for order fulfillmentCount inventory and make sure each product is labeled and accounted forStay informed on new product, legal requirements and trends in the industryEducate guests who are new to cannabis in an engaging, non-judgmental wayBuild rapport with guests, explaining the benefits of our membership/subscription serviceWork in a highly collaborative, dynamic, busy retail environmentManage online orders, curbside pickup fulfillmentKeep detailed transactions in the POS and Metrc (state monitored inventory system)Requirements:Must be legally eligible to work in the USMust be at least 21 years of ageMust be able to pass a criminal background check as required by the state
