Our client is a leading firm providing direct lending and financing solutions to middle-market private equity companies across a broad range of industries. They are seeking to add an Associate with a strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily credit base requirements, including:
- Conduct pro-forma analysis on potential deals and structures
- Oversee concentration limits and credit base compliance
- Collaborate with credit analysts to respond to lender inquiries
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Track key deadlines and deliverables for credit facilities
- Review asset allocations and optimize facility leverage
- Monitor performance and assess risks of existing credit structures
- Communicate and coordinate with internal teams (e.g., legal, compliance, investor relations, treasury, IT, etc.) as needed
- Oversee the credit rating and estimate process with external rating agencies
- Assist the team with the rating process for structured products (e.g., funds, rated vehicles, etc.)
- Engage in the evaluation and implementation of technology initiatives (e.g., credit base compliance systems, reporting dashboards, counterparty tracking, etc.)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-4 years of experience, preferably in Accounting, Banking/Lending, or Private Funds
- Knowledge of bank debt/credit products is a plus
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
