Location: LA

Salary: $140,0000 - $160,000 + bonus

Piper Maddox are currently supporting a leading renewable IPP focusing on developing and operating distributed generation solar and storage project across the US. This business have been incredibly successful in the space and have well over 150MW of projects developed and under operation.

As a Capital Markets Associate you will play a key role in wider team, and directly support the VP of Capital Markets on securing new finding (tax equity, debt and construction). This role is much more than a modelling heavy role, it is a key figure in the team owning a number of finance relationship key to pushing forwards their portfolio of projects.

What you will do:

• Lead on a number of complex project financings, and own relationships with key financial institutions.
• Create financial models, and present investment opportunities for distributed generation solar and storage projects.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders and investors to own transaction due diligence processes.

What you will have:

• 2+ years experience within IB, tier one bank, IPP or developer within the capital markets / project finance function.
• Depth of experience within the renewables industry is key (utility or DG scale projects).
• Strong financial modelling skills within various types on investments (debt, tax equity, construction).
