A philosophy that balances personal lifestyles, perspectives and needs is an important part of our culture.The Capital Markets Solutions team sits within Corporate & Institutional Solutions, partnering with Investment Solutions, delivering solutions to Family Office and corporate clients across administration, capital markets, investment management, and specialized service needs.The Capital Markets Solutions COO is a senior leadership role integrally involved in all aspects of the business including management and execution of high priority projects and curation of key internal and external partnerships. The role is fast-paced and demanding, and you will be asked to continually identify and implement operational efficiencies, drive opportunities for growth and innovation, and lead project discussions with internal stakeholders and senior executives to ensure alignment in strategic vision across the organization.Key Responsibilities:• Collaborate with leadership across the Firm to help execute on Capital Markets Solutions strategy and priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Influence and team across multiple areas of the organization.• Responsible for understanding and assisting in the design and implementation of a new Target Operating Model for Capital Markets Solutions/ Institutional Client Coverage and the Institutional Securities Group• Responsible for assisting in the management of the day-to-day operations of various departments, including sales and project management; will serve as senior liaison to finance, HR, technology, operations and marketing. • Provide visibility into the strategic project portfolio, enabling alignment to strategic goals, decision making on investment selection and optimization of resource usage. • Track outcomes and deliverables and create an environment that adapts to new expectations and priorities. Responsible for regular performance/ KPI reports to senior management. Conduct financial due diligence across the portfolio of work. • Help in the management of annual budgets.• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Technology and Audit to proactively manage risks and to mature process, platform and compliance capabilities on behalf of the business.QualificationsQualificationsKnowledge and Skills Required:• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required; MBA highly preferred• Candidates should exhibit experience with managing and leading large complex projects across the organization• Minimum of 10-15 years of senior management or operational management experience; prior experience as a COO to C- suite executives (e.g., CEO, CIO) preferred• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skillsMorgan Stanley's goal is to build and maintain a workforce that is diverse in experience and background but uniform in reflecting our standards of integrity and excellence.
