The incumbent will oversee small and large-scale expansion projects as well as facility & utility upgrades and improvements. These projects will include the design, purchase, and installation of process equipment.
Your Responsibilities: - Planning, organizing, allocating resources, and developing capital projects, timelines and budgets.
- Provide Engineering support in development of project specifications (URS, functional specification, detail design).
- Work with vendors and stake holders on design, installation, commissioning, factory acceptance test, startup, and validation of equipment.
- Oversee contractor personnel, ensuring projects are completed within the desired timelines, meeting Engineering, Quality and financial requirements.
- Review proposals and documents to verify adherence to project scope and technical expectations.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications): - Education: BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or adjacent field; On the job experience may be acceptable in place of degree. Chemical or Mechanical disciplines most preferred
- Experience: 2+ years' previous experience in an engineering role supporting manufacturing operations and/or equipment installation in a regulated environment with degree. 7+ years' previous experience in place of degree
- Proven ability to deliver capital projects on-time, within budget and with desired deliverables
