Job Summary: As a New Car Dealership Salesperson at Hassett Ford Lincoln, you will play a crucial role in providing a superior car-buying experience to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in selecting the right new vehicles from our inventory and guiding them through the purchasing process. Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, establish rapport, and actively listen to their needs and preferences. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the new vehicles in our inventory, including their features, specifications, and pricing. Consultative Selling: Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles based on their preferences, budget, and lifestyle. Test Drives: Arrange and conduct test drives to allow customers to experience the vehicles firsthand. Price Negotiation: Negotiate prices and terms with customers, ensuring transparency and fairness throughout the negotiation process. Paperwork and Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, including sales contracts, finance applications, and other required documents. Follow-Up: Maintain ongoing communication with potential and existing customers, addressing questions and concerns promptly. Product Presentation: Keep the showroom and vehicles in pristine condition, ensuring they are ready for display at all times. Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the Sales Manager. Customer Satisfaction: Strive to provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction through timely resolution of issues and concerns. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus. Previous experience in automotive sales is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills. Self-motivated and results-oriented. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Knowledge of automotive industry trends and products is a plus. Benefits: Competitive base salary plus commission.
