Card Services & ATM Specialist 231 Hill Road, Rome, NY 13440 Starting pay rate: $18.78/hour to $26.14/hour, actual rate will depend on experience Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Who Are We? The Position: AmeriCU Credit Union is in search of a Card Services & ATM Specialist who aligns directly with our mission to provide our members with the right financial services to live life, dream big, and achieve financial success, and our vision to be the most admired organization in every community we serve. The Card Services & ATM Specialist will:
  • Support the administration and operation of Card Services & ATM programs that support and further the strategic goals and objectives of the Credit Union. Work collaboratively to maintain efficient, professional procedures to be compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Support the Card Services & ATM Department in implementing the tactics needed to achieve our strategic goals and objectives.
What you will do: As a Card Services & ATM Specialistyour primary responsibilities will include:
  • Responsible for taking calls from Financial Center and Call Center (and even directly from member) on member issues related to ATMs, Debit & Credit cards, Shared Branching, Remote Deposit, Instant Issue for Plastics, Bill Payment, and disputes. Resolves member complaints regarding incorrect postings, billing discrepancies, etc.
  • Assists both internal and external members by providing accurate credit card information and answering questions regarding their credit card account, acts as liaison between Credit Union and Credit Card vendor. Resolves member complaints regarding incorrect postings, billing discrepancies, etc. Responds to Credit Bureaus disputes for credit cards on the E-Oscar web site.
  • Acts as liaison between Credit Union and PSCU/FDR. Enters new accounts on credit card platform as needed. Review Meridian Link New Account Bookings and make corrections as needed. Services Business Credit Cards.
  • Maintains a complete understanding of the credit card products offered, including origination and servicing of the credit cards. Must be knowledgeable of account parameters. Maintains a complete working knowledge of Credit Card System, including Access Point, Credit Card Mobile Banking, and all associated enhancements to assist Financial Center staff and members.
  • Processes payment exceptions, cash advances, adjustments, line increases and suspensions, closed account notices and other file maintenance. Handles all returned mail and follows procedures for any name and address changes. Responds to and resolves Credit Card synapsis Service events from the Financial Centers.
  • Assists Financial Centers regarding all Credit Card related functions such as online training, marketing campaigns, webinars pertaining to credit card products and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to multi-task. Ability to work with minimal or no supervision while performing duties; has the ability and initiative to organize various functions necessary to accomplish department activities or goals and be a strong team player.
  • Responsible for participating in AmeriCU's on call support for ATMs and Kiosks. This also includes responding to calls over the weekends from members via our extended call center due to Debit & Credit Card, ATM, Kiosks issues.
