**Purpose of the Role**
As a Card Services Representative at FPCU, you will be the key point of contact for both external Members and internal Partners regarding debit and credit card product operations, maintenance, and servicing. This role plays a crucial part in fostering a culture of exceptional member service, while promoting a team-oriented, can-do attitude. Your efforts will help us fulfill our mission of Building Lifetime Financial Partnerships.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Deliver Best-in-Class Service:** Provide exceptional service, with a commitment to increasing member satisfaction and building strong, lasting relationships.
+ **Problem-Solving & Communication:** Utilize excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills to resolve card-related issues, ensuring a positive outcome for Members.
+ **Technical Support:** Troubleshoot card issues such as expiration date mismatches, expired cards, limit exceeded, invalid PINs, etc.
+ **Fraud/Disputes Management:** Handle and manage member fraud disputes, ensuring compliance with Regulation E throughout the claims process.
+ **GL Management:** Balance and maintain General Ledgers (GLs) related to card activity.
+ **Vendor Liaison:** Act as the main point of contact between FPCU and card processing vendors (e.g., MC, COOP Financial Services).
+ **Reporting & Monitoring:** Review reports to monitor debit and credit card maintenance and fraud prevention efforts.
+ **Fraud Mitigation:** Collaborate with Risk Management to identify and address fraud-related risks.
+ **Expertise in Operations:** Develop specialized knowledge of operational processes, compliance requirements, regulations, and policies to ensure tasks are completed accurately and within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
+ **Operational Improvements:** Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
+ **Team Collaboration:** Work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
+ **Other Duties as Assigned:** Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team and FPCU's goals.

**Education and Experience**
+ Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Comprehensive understanding of Federal Regulations E, J, CC, D, and Z.
The pay range for this position is listed above. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
