The Card Services Specialist is responsible for the administration and maintenance of all debit and ATM card-related products.This role is essential to ensuring our customers enjoy uninterrupted access to their accounts and secure card transactions.You'll be a critical problem-solver, handling card inquiries, disputes, and fraud issues, while also ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.Whether it's handling customer calls or running reports to identify trends, you'll be a key player in keeping our card services running smoothly and efficiently. We are seeking a detail-oriented Card Services Specialist to join our team and ensure the highest level of service for our cardholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide professional and courteous telephone support for all CardBase inquiries, travel restrictions, daily limits and transactions
  • Balance daily ATM accounts, process error correction notices, and return items on ATM deposits
  • Responsible for researching and processing ATM and Visa Debit card claims and disputes, ensuring all disputes are processed in compliance with Bank policies and procedures, as well as within rules and regulations
  • Review and monitor debit card activity and reports for suspected fraudulent activity
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new products and/or features related to the Bank's debit card portfolio
  • Combine critical thinking skills, knowledge, and curiosity in technology to identify and stop current fraud trends within the Bank's card processing operations
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 4 year college degree or related work experience
  • Prior experience in debit card programs preferred
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail required
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and programs with working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when needed
  • Team-oriented and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
  • Service-oriented, polite, and respectful
  • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently until project completion
HOURS: Regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
