If applicant is a RN, must have cardiac rhythm experience and WI RN license. BLS, required. Certified Clinical Device Specialist (CCDS) credential preferred, or previously credentialed preferred Minimum Experience: 2+ years Education Requirements. Associate Degree in related health sciences, or equivalent, with an Associate Degree in cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, nursing or biomedical electronic sciences or a Bachelor's Degree in cardiovascular/cardiopulmonary sciences beneficial Skillset: Knowledge of ECG interpretive skills (identification and differentiation of arrhythmia), cardiac clinical assessment, and routine cardiovascular pharmacological agents (indications, use and effects) Knowledge of the technological aspects of devices (pacemakers, ICDs) i.e., pulse generators, leads and electrodes, sensing, stimulation, timing cycles, algorithms and defibrillation concepts.
