SUMMARY

LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Cardiac Care
SCHEDULE: Weekends, Evenings, & On-Call Required

RESPONSIBILITIES
Minimum Qualifications:• If hired after 11/1/2023, 2 years of experience in cardiac imaging or related field or Certificate, Associates, or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited cardiac echo sonographer program or Equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Licensure/Certification Skills:• Appropriate credential in echocardiography from: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer- (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).• New graduates of a cardiac ultrasound program who are employed in an accredited facility mustobtain an appropriate credential within one year from the date of graduation. These individuals must be listed on the application as provisional technical staff who are eligible for credentialing, and must only work under appropriate supervision of a credentialed Sonographer.
