Summary: As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Step Down Unit, your role is vital in providing compassionate care to post-open heart surgery and post-thoracic surgical patients, helping them re-establish through education, diet, exercise, and stress management.

Status: Part Time (20 hours per week)Location: Rochester General HospitalDepartment: Cardiac Surgery / Cardiac ICU Step Down (4400)

Education: AS: Nursing (Required)

Licenses/Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

Pay Range: $35.75 - $48.00
