A cardiac surgeon locum position is available for immediate coverage, lasting approximately 3-4 weeks after credentialing (3-4 weeks). The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 AM-3 PM, with a 1-week-on/1-week-off call rotation (supported by in-house overnight surgical PAs). The role includes outpatient clinics, with an average caseload of 1 surgery per day, utilizing 2 ORs and 1 hybrid room. The EMR used is Cerner, and the team includes 8 full-time surgical PAs, office RNs, MAs, and administrative staff. Travel costs, including flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage, are reimbursed.
