Urgent need for Physician Assistant Cardio-Thoracic Surgery in PennsylvaniaSchedule: 1 day per week, 1 weekend a monthCall: Occasional Weeknight or weekend call, less than 5 callbacks a monthEMR: EpicTrauma: 2Patient Volume: 10-15 OR cases a weekSkills: Endoscopic Vein harvesting, Cardiac OR, Assist in coverage of CVICU, Open and Closure of Sternum*Responsibilities** Perform surgical procedures with precision and expertise, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.* Conduct thorough patient assessments prior to surgery, including reviewing medical histories and diagnostic tests.* Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical staff during surgical procedures to ensure seamless operations.* Provide post-operative care and monitor patients for any complications or necessary interventions.* Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including documentation of surgeries performed and patient progress.* Engage in ongoing research to stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and emergency medicine practices.* Participate in training and mentoring of junior staff members or residents in the surgical department.* Ensure compliance with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation of diagnoses and procedures.If interested can share your cv on my email.INDAHJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $80.00 - $110.00 per hourMedical Specialty:* Cardiology* Cardiovascular SurgerySchedule:* 8 hour shiftExperience:* Cardiothoracic surgery: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required)* PA-C (Required)Ability to Commute:* Montgomery County, PA (Required)Work Location: In person
