Diploma or Equivalent 2 Years work experience in invasive cardiology Req* Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Req*Experience** 1 Year vascular or cardiac angiography Pref or* 2 Years required with high school diploma Req*Licenses and Certifications** ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Req And* GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire Pref Or* RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program Upon Hire Req And* LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist If RCIS Only Upon Hire Pref Or* RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) Only Upon Hire Req And* BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And* ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req*Here's What You'll Do**Patient Care** Prepares room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies)* Checks physician orders and exam requisitions using time-out procedures*Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing** Adjusts technique parameters appropriately for age related factors* Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique*Equipment Operation and Maintenance** Troubleshoots and properly documents equipment malfunction* Maintains equipment and room to sanitary standards*Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford* is a 296-bed, acute-care facility serving Northeast Tarrant County since 1973.
