Care Coordinator - CorsoCare Staffing Agency**Comfortable traveling throughout Mid-Michigan and Central Michigan as needed**Full time, Salaried Position Summary:The Care/Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for supporting and assisting in coordination of resident and patient care personnel to meet anticipated needs. Maintains the schedule and training of staff.Required Experience for the Care Coordinator:
- 2-5 Years of experience with scheduling
- 2-5 Years of experience assisting with patient care
- Comfortable with travel 30-40% of the time
- Experience working with scheduling software
- Strong attention to detail
Accountabilities for the Care Coordinator:
- Demonstrate and model company culture and values -safety, common beliefs, and a culture of feedback.
- Oversees Hiring Process: Interviews potential employees. Hires and on boards new employees to 1440 standards.
- Maintains appropriate records for new and existing staff.
- Facilitate New Employee Orientation
- Oversees and assist in Payroll Administration: Accurately approves and processes (bi-weekly) payroll for all staff.
- Oversees and manages ongoing reports within the scheduling software.
- Create and send invoices, AR/following up on payments and payroll.
- Assist in Schedule/Staffing: Create, maintain and manage staff schedules utilizing scheduling software.
- Training Accountability: Maintaining all appropriate records of training for new and existing staff. Ensure all new hires enroll in Realis, receive their learning plans and complete all State regulatory training by mandatory deadline.
- Complete Monthly Check-In with all staff
- Coordinate schedules with community leaders, looking ahead at least three days for staffing vacancies. Works in conjunction with the Director to find and secure staffing for areas in need.
- Drives revenue opportunities.
- Manage expenses.
- Assists in coverage to provide compassionate and competent care in private residences.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

General Working Conditions:This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
