Description:Authorizes and reviews utilization of mental health and substance abuse services provided in inpatient and intermediate care settings; collects and analyzes utilization data. Assists with discharge planning and ambulatory follow-up activity; provides member assistance with mental health and substance abuse issues, and participates in QI projects. Manages a caseload of ICM members if assigned.QualificationsLicense: LPC, LCSW or RNAdditional InformationRequirements/Certifications: This is a Temp - to Perm position!Hours: 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am - 5pm. This will be determined by the manager.Education: All licenses require a Master's Degree EXCEPT for the RN. The RN requires a Bachelor's Degree.Training: 1 week of formal training and then floor training.The selected candidate will authorize and review utilization of mental health and substance abuse services provided in inpatient and intermediate care settings; collect and analyze utilization data. Assist with discharge planning and ambulatory follow-up activity; provide members assistance with mental health and substance abuse issues, and participate in QI projects. The selected candidate will manage 10-15 reviews/day. He/She must be able to type and talk at the same time, be comfortable working in a cubicle environment, and navigate through multiple systems.
