Job Description:Position Summary:Under general supervision, this position coordinates referral requests and communication of appointments using general clerical and customer service skills including, but not limited to, organizing requests from multiple locations, obtaining preauthorization, and communicating status of appointments. This position acts as a patient educator, care coordinator, system navigator, and patient advocate with the mission to improve the care experience.
Minimum Requirements:- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program with current CMA certification; OR
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program with current Kentucky LPN Licensure
- Basic computer skills, specifically with navigating within databases containing highly confidential information.
- Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate.
