The Arbors Assisted Living is currently seeking friendly, and reliable people to assist our residents with their activities of daily living and to monitor daily health status and reports to the Wellness Director.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Works in conjunction with the Wellness Director and Case Manager to assure the needs of the residents are being maintained.
- Receives daily work assignments from supervisor to assist in resident care.
- Maintains confidentiality of necessary information
- Thinks and acts calmly and logically to meet unusual occurrences of the job
- Displays sound judgment in decision making
- Shows initiative in seeking solutions to solve problems
- Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis as well as a calm environment throughout the community.
- Adheres to customer service principles.
Task Specific:
- Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) personal care, including but not limited to nails, hair, oral hygiene, toileting, bathing, transferring, dressing, and undressing as needed.
- Assists residents with managed incontinence programs.
- Maintains knowledge of resident's needs at all times.
- Reviews 24-hour log regularly
- Checks residents regularly to assure that personal care needs are met.
- Brings residents to and from meals and activities when necessary.
