**May be eligible for a sign-on bonus**CARE TEAM COORDINATOR (Non-Certified)JOB SUMMARYThe Care Team Coordinator (Non-Certified) functions as an important member of the organization's healthcare team and is responsible for delegated tasks under the direct supervision of a provider. The Care Team Coordinator (Non-Certified) rooms the patient, completes team documentation and preforms in-between visit functions within the specific team care structure to provide excellent patient care to those we serve.
JOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATIONFor positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or documented successful completion of the following courses (or their recognized course equivalent) currently or within one year of hire:
- Medical Terminology
- Anatomy & Physiology or Body Structure & Function or Human Body in Health & Disease
- Pharmacology
Preferred/Optional: None
EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: One and a half years' experience in a healthcare setting required if not a graduate of an MA or LPN program.
Preferred/Optional: One year experience as a Medical Assistant (MA).
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
