JOB SUMMARYThe Dermatology Technician I functions as a member of the healthcare team by providing clinical and technical support to assist providers in providing for patients' care, comfort, and safety. The individual will complete basic procedures as requested by the provider and will assist providers with procedures. The Dermatology Technician I performs in a manner consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health Systems' mission, policies, and initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality.
JOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION/EXPERIENCEFor positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: One of the following:
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program
- Documented successful completion of the following Courses or their recognized equivalent
- Medical Terminology from an accredited institution or completed on line through Universal Class
- Anatomy & Physiology or Body Structure & Function or Human Body in Health Disease from an accredited institution or completed on line through Universal Class
- Pharmacology from an accredited institution
- Two years of Medical Assistant related work experience and completion of the required educational courses listed above within 12 months of hire.
Preferred/Optional: Experience in healthcare.

The Care Team Coordinator -CMA rooms the patient, completes team documentation and performs in-between visit functions within the specific team care structure to provide excellent patient care to those we serve.
