VPA serves approximately 1,600 undergraduate students in 25 undergraduate degree programs and approximately 200 graduate students in 17 degree programs. The Office of Academic and Career Advising within the College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) is currently seeking a career advisor to deliver services to students enrolled in its various majors. This is a 10-month position from August 16 to June 15 for each academic year. This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200 United. Education and Experience A Bachelors degree and at least one (1 ) plus year of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in a university or a professional setting is necessary. Skills and Knowledge A demonstrated ability to work within a team as well as independently.
