The Party Chief adheres to company policies and ensures that employees follow procedures and is responsible for
making sure all of the equipment is ready for an upcoming field task. Makes sure that there is a smooth interaction
between the Client, Field Office, and Field Crews with regard to the projects Layout needs.
Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
* Adhere to company policies and ensure that employees follow procedures
* Plan daily activities to meet productivity goals
* Prepare daily time sheets, data logs, expense reports, and field change orders
* Plan and execution of surveys
* Watch over the operation field projects, which includes logistic and administrative aspects, in cooperation
with the Project manager
* Ensure that the project progresses according to contract
* Coordinate Survey needs between Projects and Field Crews
* Review Contract Drawings/In House drawings prior to distribution to Field Crews
* Compile RFI's For Discrepancies
* Manage As-Builts
* Check/Track field data for accuracy and completeness
* Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values
* And other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* 5+ years in a supervisor position
* 8 years experience in construction
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple jobs/crews
* Terramodel/CADD experience preferred
* Knowledge of GPS/ Robotic Equipment
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Project Overview:
* Work on the Phase III extension of the 183A tollway includes adding two tolled main lanes 6.6 miles in each
direction from Hero Way to North of SH 29 and constructing a shared use path from Hero Way to the
proposed Seward Junction Loop project
* With unprecedented growth in Williamson County, especially in Cedar Park, Leander, and Liberty Hill, traffic
volumes along the 183 are seen increasing by 183% over the next 25 years. The project will help alleviate
future congestion and reduce driving times for commuters.
* The project is scheduled to be completed in October 2024
