Title: Career Skills Program CoordinatorSalary Range: 48,168.00Contract Term Length: 12 MonthsStandard Hours: 37.5Work Location: On-SiteFLSA Status: ExemptCollege: Elizabethtown Community & Technical CollegeCampus Location: Elizabethtown CTCDepartment: Student AffairsTotal RewardsElizabethtown Community & Technical College offers a competitive benefits package and an attractive work environment that supports excellence, innovation, and creativity including:* Exceptional health care, vision, dental coverage for you and your family* Tuition reimbursement/waiver for you, your spouse, and dependents* 403(b) retirement plan: a 5% employee contribution receives a 10% employer match* Vacation/Sick Time* Work-Life Balance* 9.5 Paid Holidays* 2 Weeks Institutional Closing Pay (Last 2 weeks of December) for qualifying positions* Employee Assistance ProgramJob Summary* ECTC is seeking a Career Skills Program (CSP) Coordinator to lead this program for transitioning military and veteran soldiers to capitalize on training and skill development opportunities so that they are capable of serving our workforce beyond their military service.Job Duties:Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:* Facilitates the development and implementation of all aspects of the grant, including programmatic, fiscal, and staff aspects of the project, to ensure grant objectives are attained in compliance with federal regulations.* Develop and maintain strong relationships with pertinent stakeholders such as appropriate campuses, community leaders, and Fort Knox leadership.* Willingness for frequent off-campus visits for the purpose of recruitment and delivery of services to participants at the satellite campuses, including weeknights and weekends.* Recruitment of veterans, active military, and military-connected into the project.* Recruitment of military for the CSP programs that are transitioning into civilian life.* Direct advisement services to participants on career planning, educational information, financial aid, and other areas consistent with the SSC project.* Administers and manages the budget in accordance with college policy and in compliance with the requirements and regulations of the U.S. Department of Education.* Develop budgets, authorize expenditures, and oversee procurement reconciliation.* Hire, supervise, train, and evaluate all project personnel.* Provides daily supervision of academic advising and project activities.* Assists in the identification and selection of participants; and plans. develops, advises, teaches, implements, and assesses all services.* Designs, implements, assesses, and reports project evaluation outcomes.* Oversee the project Risk Assessment and oversee its monthly review with project staff.* Develops and submits reports to the U.S. Department of Education and the college.* Performs routine operational details affecting the project by assuming responsibility for secretarial, clerical, and office management functions, as necessary.* Facilitates dissemination of project information to the target area.Minimum Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience; may require an advanced degree (Master's, PhD, etc.). Typical years of relevant experience: 2-4.Preferred Qualifications:Successful candidates should demonstrate:* Three years of experience designing, implementing, and managing similar projects/grants with an emphasis on veteran/military populations who are first-generation, disabled, or disadvantaged.* Experience with supervision and administration of grants and personnel.* Experience working with federal grant regulations and cost-circulars.* Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with multiple constituents, including college administrators and community agencies.* Strong organization, oral/written communication, planning, and presentation skills.* Experience working with veteran/military students educationally.* Demonstrated success in overcoming barriers similar to those of the target population.Open until filled; review begins January 6, 2025To apply please visit: is an equal-opportunity employer and education institution.Band 10 (Min: 48,168.00)Position: 10001845Additional Skills RequestedEmployee Rights - Employee Polygraph Protection Act
