Up to $500 Sign On Bonus!*We are currently hiring Caregivers for our residential and adult day programs.Residential Group Home Schedules Available:* 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM , varying hours, five (5) days per work week, including weekends & holidays* 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM varying hours, five (5) days per work week, including weekends & holidaysAdult Day Program Schedules Available:* 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday* 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through FridayMomentum is hiring a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support disabled individuals with daily living needs in a group home residential and / or adult day program settings. As a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support people with their physical, emotional, and social needs by focusing on the person first. Our Caregiver's / DSPs have the unique opportunity to build a rewarding career in healthcare and to develop caring relationships.Benefits (Full-time):* $500.00 Sign on Bonus** Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance* Life Assistance Program* Flexible Spending Account (FSA)* Paid Holidays* Paid Vacation/Sick/Bereavement leave* Credit Union Benefits and Discounts* $750.00 Referral Bonus Program* Retirement Plan (403B)Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) Essential Responsibilities (Residential) :* Assists with personal care, including: dressing, undressing, bathing, toileting, and overall hygiene* Assists with meal preparation, meal clean-up, laundry, and other cleaning tasks* Assists with moving in and out of beds, wheelchairs, and automobiles* Assists with activities of interest, such as: outings, crafts, entertainment, and other community events* Provides direct support and other related duties as assigned by supervisor(s) and/or nursing staff* Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and/or business needsCaregiver / DSP Essential Responsibilities (Adult Day Program) :* Assist people attending the program with program activities and community-based activities* Assist people attending the program with communication, feeding, mobility, toileting, hygiene, and other activities of daily living* Follow each person's Individual Service Plan (ISP) goals* Document behavioral and daily living skills data of people supported accurately and in a timely manner* Document individuals' activity participation and critical issues in a timely mannerCaregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) Qualifications:* Must be at least 18 years of age* Valid and current proof of legal right to drive in California; highly preferred* Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals; preferred* Read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English well enough to perform essential duties and responsibilities* Ability to maintain confidentiality* Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, health screening, TB screening and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States* Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to fifty (50) poundsCNAs and Med-Techs are encouraged to apply!* Sign on Bonus will be paid in two payments.
