Community Resource Network of Floridais looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable andis committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.The individual is a 29 year-old man in need of a caregiver to support him with household chores, meal preparation, and taking him to the park. He enjoys music, movies, Scooby Doo & Spiderman.This is an independent contract position and pays $15.00 per hourSchedule: Wednesday & Friday from 12pm-4pm and Saturday & Sunday from 12pm-6pm, days and hours somewhat flexibleYou will be a good fit for this position if you :Have a positive outlook and contagious energy Demonstrate patience and compassionResponsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activitiesAssisting with personal hygieneMeal/snack preparation Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to the parkPromote communication, choice, independence, and socialization Complete daily progress notes Qualifications and SkillsMust be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background ScreeningProvide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.Have a High School diploma or equivalent Have a Valid Drivers license Are 18 years of age or older
