We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Caregiver to provide essential in-home care and support to individuals who require assistance with daily activities. As a Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by offering companionship, assistance with personal care, and helping them maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.
Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while preserving their dignity and privacy. Medication Management: Ensure clients take their prescribed medications on time, following the medication schedule and providing medication reminders as needed. Companionship: Foster emotional well-being by engaging in meaningful conversations, playing games, reading, and providing companionship and support. Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences, and assist clients with eating if necessary. Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and mobility aids as required. Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the client. Transportation: Provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed. Monitoring Health: Observe and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any incidents. Respect for Independence: Promote and encourage the client's independence while offering assistance and support as necessary. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not required.
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification (can be obtained after hiring).
- Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for the job).
