We are seeking compassionate, trustworthy, and reliable self-starters to join our growing home care team. We are Pro You!In this role, you will provide care and support to individuals in their private homes while maintaining a safe and clean environment. In doing so, caregivers/companions will ensure each client's dignity, respect, and independence. You will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and provide non-medical services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, warm companionship, and medication reminders. Although not a requirement, we strongly encourage those with CNA, GNA, and HHA credentials to apply. Essential Duties:
  • Develops and promotes a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established standards, policies and procedures
  • Ensures clean, safe living space (i.e., bathroom, toilets, dishes, laundry, etc.)
  • Assists client with walking and transportation to appointments, outdoor activities, errands, etc.
  • Records and reports any changes or concerns in behavior to the Director of Nursing via written and verbal communication
  • Provides verbal reminders for medication
  • Plans, prepares, and serves meals to client
  • Accompanies and attends social events with clients
  • Adheres to the established care plan
  • Administers duties with the utmost professionalism and respect
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a HS diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of documented experience (preferably providing caregiving experience with adults)
  • Hold a valid, non-expired driver's license
  • Have current CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Can provide evidence of a Negative TB skin test or Chest X-ray
  • Able to bend, stoop, push and physically assist with needs of client
  • Able to read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to adhere to HIPAA and client confidentiality mandates
