Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated caregiver to provide in-home care for a child with autism. This role requires someone who can engage positively with the child, offering support with daily routines and activities. The caregiver will be responsible for providing care during mornings, evenings, and weekends. This position is ideal for someone with experience in caregiving or a related field and who can create a nurturing and structured environment.Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily routines and activities.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist with school-related tasks during mornings.
- Engage the child with activities that promote learning and development.
- Support during evenings and weekends as needed.
- Transport the child as required for appointments, school, or activities.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with autism, is preferred.
- Ability to exhibit patience, understanding, and compassion.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
