As a Caregiver, You Will:
- Promote the health and well-being of every resident
- Provide direct care to residents, focusing on their highest level of functioning
- Assist in maintaining a safe and neat environment for residents, in accordance with facility standards and State and Federal Regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Compassion for and a desire to work with seniors, especially those with dementia
- Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and email
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must meet all health requirements, including health screening, drug test, and TB clearance
- Must pass a drug screen, state-required fingerprinting, and criminal background check
- First Aid certification
Preferred:
- 1 year of caregiving experience
