Caregiver
IHC Support Services is seeking to fill a part-time position for a child in the Siren, WI area. This position will need a commitment of working 3 days a week from 7am - 4pm.
Job Duties will include but not limited to:
- Transfer in and out of bed using a Hoyer lift.
- Dressing child
- Changing client when needed
- Giving meals via gastric tube
- Entertainment
- Monitoring for health changes and notifying parent immediately.
- Temperature checks
The candidate must:
- Have a minimum of 4 years working with special needs children/adults.
- Know how to use a Hoyer lift and stand lift.
- Be able to move 70+ lbs. in a bed and a wheelchair.
- Be creative.
- Have compassion.
- Great communication skills.
- Be flexible.
