Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, incontinence management, transferring, walking, climbing stairs, and eating assistance.
- Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs): such as running errands, medication assistance, and communication support.
- Accompany ambulatory clients outside the Cottage for appointments, social events, or religious activities.
- Engage in companion activities like reading aloud, playing games, using the internet, or conversing.
- Maintain the Cottage by shopping for groceries, preparing meals, and managing housework, laundry, and linens.
- Work rotating and split shifts as required.
- Document services provided and client conditions.
- Communicate effectively with Wesbury at Home Coordinator regarding scheduling, leave requests, resident needs, and concerns.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, family, and friends, while representing Wesbury professionally.
Requirements:
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and personal vehicle required.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous in-home care or nursing facility experience preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification provided by Wesbury.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain professionalism.
- Follow schedules, instructions, recipes, and labels accurately.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, driving, bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
- Maintain resident confidentiality.
- Adhere to Wesbury's personnel policies
