Come see why caregivers love working with us!What You'll DoAs a caregiver with Senior Helpers, you'll provide essential assistance and meaningful companionship to clients, helping them live with dignity and independence. Here's what your role will include:Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Personal Hygiene Assistance: Help clients with bathing, grooming, and dressing to ensure they feel fresh, confident, and comfortable.
- Mobility Support: Assist with walking, transferring, and positioning to keep clients safe and active.
- Toileting and Continence Care: Provide compassionate support with restroom needs or incontinence management.
- Meal Assistance: Help with feeding when necessary to ensure clients maintain proper nutrition.
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
- Meal Preparation: Plan, cook, and serve nutritious meals while considering dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Light Housekeeping: Tidy up living spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and washing dishes, to keep the environment safe and clean.
- Transportation and Errands: Drive clients to appointments, grocery shopping, or other outings to maintain their independence.
- Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their medications as prescribed and on time (no medical administration required).
- Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversations, hobbies, and activities to brighten their day and provide emotional support.
Other Responsibilities
- Monitor Client Well-Being: Stay alert to changes in physical or emotional health and report concerns to the office.
- Follow Care Plans: Work closely with the family and office team to deliver care customized to each client's needs.
- Provide Emotional Support: Be a friendly, listening ear and a source of encouragement for clients and their families.

What You Bring
- A caring heart and a bright personality - we'll teach you the rest!
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience? Not required! Family caregiving counts, and we'll train you.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Great communication and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate with office staff, clients, and other caregivers through phone call, text, and email.
- Willingness to complete background checks and drug screenings.
