Thrive Support Services, Inc. is hiring for a Personal Care Attendant/Caregiver to provide care and support to a person with Autism. We are looking for a compassionate caregiver who takes pride in improving another person's quality of life. The individual supported is a 25-year-old male with Autism. He is easy going and fun to be with. He need someone to help him with light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminder and accompany him during community outing. Location: Livermore, CA Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday with an alternating schedule of 9 am - 9pm and 2:30 pm - 9pm depending on his day program schedule QUALIFICATIONS: Preferably with at least one (1) year experience working as a caregiver, preferably with adults with developmental disabilities High level of accountability and dependability Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must have a valid California Driver License Must have access to reliable vehicle Must be able to pass DOJ fingerprinting/criminal background check Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification Must be able to obtain TB test result Benefits include: Full-Time Employees (30 hours+ per week): After 90 days Eligible for Kaiser Bronze Plan.
