The Caregiver at Senior Helpers of West Kentucky in Paducah/Mayfield provides compassionate care and assistance to elderly clients in their homes. This individual contributor role is responsible for helping seniors with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and personal care needs. Our Caregivers enjoy competitive pay and flexible schedules.Responsibilities Include:1. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients2. Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping3. Help with personal care needs including bathing, grooming, and toileting4. Accompany clients to appointments and activities outside the home5. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients6. Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior7. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the Senior Helpers team8. Follow care plans and document any services provided9. Attend and participate in all required training and continuing education programsRequirements:1. High School Diploma or equivalent2. Minimum of 6 months experience working as a caregiver, CNA, or HHA is preferred3. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation4. Ability to pass a background check and drug test5. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with seniors6. Must possess compassion, patience, and a positive attitude7. Physical ability to perform job duties including standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds8.
