Notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.* Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when business travel is required.* May provide or assist clients with activities of daily living including: bathing in bed, tub or shower; care of hair including shampoo, combing and brushing; care of teeth and mouth including denture care; nail care, filing only; skin care including pericare and applying lotion; transfer of patient from bed to chair and to wheelchair. Transfer of patients on and off bedpan, commode and toilet.* Assists with household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care.Education and ExperienceExperience Desired* Six months experience in home care preferred.* Successful completion of a competency evaluation.License Requirements* Current CPR certification required.* Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.Skill Requirements* Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified patients' needs.* Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the patient.* Able to work independently.* Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
