We are hiring superhero caregivers to help seniors in Greenwich, Stamford, New Canaan, Darien, Norwalk, Westport and the rest of Fairfield County. Collaborative Home Care takes pride in the professional development and training of our Caregivers. We offer a robust training program to those Caregivers interested in furthering their professional development within the Home Care industry.

Responsibilities and Duties: Our Caregivers are responsible for providing hands-on, non-medical, quality care to clients of Collaborative Home Care. Clients can reside in their home or at assisted living communities. Caregivers provide care based on the plan of care for their clients, which includes activities of daily living such as personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, medication reminders) and companion care (e.g. conversation, hobbies and activities, shopping). Caregivers must be able to work with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for the maintenance of a professional relationship with the client in accordance with Collaborative Home Care policies and standards.

Qualifications:
  • A love for the senior community
  • A compassionate and upbeat attitude
  • Strong commitment to reliability and ethical behavior
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
  • Dedication to professional development
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in caregiving for seniors
  • Ability to lift 30-40 pounds
  • Possess a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
  • Possess a state ID, and a valid second form of ID, such as a social security card, birth certificate, or passport
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Pass a background check and drug testing per company standards
