Join us and discover just how far you can go!Role IntroductionCathay Pacific Airways is looking for a full-time, Cargo Account Manager to join the Dallas Forth-Worth Cargo team in a salaried capacity. T he successful candidate will lead a team to execute the commercial strategies for the port in order to surpass revenue targets and commercial Key Performance Indicators as well as providing fit for purpose solutions to customers.Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue GenerationTake responsibility to implement the Cargo Business Plan in alignment with local cargo strategies and specified Key Performance IndicatorsActively assist the Cargo Manager(s) and coordinate with the Cargo Sales and Reservations Officers to achieve and exceed revenue target and generate additional ancillary revenuePartner with the Cargo Manager(s) to negotiate and execute sales contractsGenerate revenue with the perspective of sales channels, product sales and offline sales developmentActively champion Cathay products and provide excellent and consistent product solutions to customersAccount Management and Sales AdministrationPartner with the Indoor Sales Team to provide customer-centric solutions to customersProactively conduct regular reviews of accounts' performance and achieve additional revenue opportunitiesAssist in setting the annual revenue budget and Cargo Business PlanLead and manage the day-to-day relationships of client-servicing with customers to support revenue generationCollect, analyze and report market conditions, trends and activities to enable competitive advantageProvide superb sales and customer service in all customer touch points so as to drive premium selling rates and regular businessProactively implement programs on e-initiatives to drive penetration of e-Bookings and other Agent Self-Service functionsAny other reasonable task as requestedPartnerships and External LiaisonsActively assist the Cargo Manager(s) to manage relationships with shippers, key industry and trade partners and associations so that the Company's interests are well represented and take leadership as requiredConfer recognition on, and earn the loyalty of our highest value qualificationsPost-Secondary Diploma / Certificate in a Sales or related discipline or equivalentcombination of education, training, and experience is requiredKnowledge, skills, training and experienceMinimum of 3 years' experience in airline cargo sales, operations or customer serviceStrong working knowledge of airlines and international airfreight industryExperience in supervising a team is an advantageKnowledge of CHAMP CargoSpot SystemSuperb communication and client management skillsSensitive to confidential data and numbersProven success record in setting and achieving goalsDemonstrable ability to work independentlyAdditional RequirementsMust successfully pass all pre-screening clearances, including a background checkand pre-employment drug screen upon contingent job offerObtain and retain necessary credentials and clearances (CBP Customs Seal) perlocal requirementsIntermediate Proficiency with MS Office – Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, etc.Strong cognitive reasoning, mathematical and diagnostic skills are essentialMust be willing and able to travel within North America and overseas, if requiredMust have the right to work and live in the United StatesBackground & SecurityCertain Employees will be required to obtain a Security Identification Display Area, (SIDA) badge provided by the airport authority and maintain good standing to retain
