We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, possess a strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, and have experience working in a restaurant or catering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet the restaurant's expectations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute meal preparation
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant or catering setting
- Proficiency in food handling, food safety, and meal preparation
- Knowledge of fine dining practices and techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with menu planning and execution
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
