Airy Plant 1 Metal Manufacturing Plant, with operations in the U.S., and has overall responsibility for working with different metals to create the structural elements used in building construction to build quality metal buildings up to customer specifications. This position reports directly to the Supervisor, Plant, and does not have direct reports.Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately measures and cuts the baseboard trims to fit them along the floors of the room. This involves using tools like measuring tapes and miter saws for precision.
- Installers attach baseboards to the walls using a range of techniques, which can include adhesives, nails, or screws.
- Uses manual and power tools adeptly, including hammers, nail guns, drills, and more.
- Ensures a sealed and finished look by caulking along the top edge of the installed baseboard where it meets the wall, utilizing a caulk gun skillfully, and applying caulk neatly and evenly.
- Identifies problems with existing baseboards, such as water damage, warping, or detachment, and repairs these issues before starting the next installation.
- Follows all relevant safety guidelines and protocols.
- Works in various conditions, including cramped or uncomfortable spaces.
- Applies finishing touches such as painting or staining the baseboards.
- Assists in other duties within the metal manufacturing plant, including the following:
- Bending.
- Brazing.
- Covering material cutting and installation.
- Door and window building and installation.
- Flooring.
- Trimming.

Education/Experience Requirements:

- 1+ years of experience in Metal Fabrication.
