Job descriptionBaldwin General Contracting is hiring for a carpenter to work on a project in Bellevue. Carpenters work directly under the supervision of the Superintendent while representing the company in a professional manner.Primary Duties
- Demonstrates quality in all work
- Utilizes proper lifting techniques
- Initiates all work as scheduled & with available materials.
- Supervise laborer to ensure safe work practices and appropriate task assignments
- Maintains own tools for job and uses the right tool for right job
- Uses proper start / stop / clean up procedures
- Erects / Installs CIP and or precast concrete panels.
- Completes layout / frames metal & wood, applies wood & cement to siding of buildings efficiently / effectively
- Installs windows, doors, hardware, cabinets, trim and is a competent carpenter
Qualifications
- Understands the duties of a carpenter, with 2-3 years of verifiable experience.
- Understands utilization and maintenance of all PPE Equipment.
- Able to understand and read Architectural & Engineering plans.
- Understand and is proficient in the erection of scaffolding systems.
- Aware of different means & methods of construction
