Staff Management | SMX has an immediate opening for a Carpenter Handyman in Asheboro, NC. We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated applicant to assist with long term projects going on in a manufacturing setting. For this role, you must have experience using basic hand tools and a tape measure. This could have an opportunity to turn in to a Full-Time position with our client for candidates with right work ethic and knowledge.

Shift Information:

• 1st Shift: 7:00am to 3:00 pm, with occasional overtime

As a Carpenter Handyman you will:

• Assist with projects around the plant that involve painting, trim and baseboard, laying carpet, tile, and wood flooring. Dry wall is a plus.
• Operate multiple types of hand tools.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols in all work performed.
